Diesel Train At Magnesite Plant, Ballinacourty
Diesel Train stopped at the magnesite factory, Ballinacourty. The plant was built in 1969 by P. J. Hegarty & Sons and was founded by John A. Mulcahy. The factory produced magnesite which was used to make bricks for heavy-duty furnaces. The factory closed in 1982.

Kilmacthomas Viaduct
The viaduct at Kilmacthomas, photographed from the road. It was constructed as part of the Mallow - Waterford railway line. The last train passed over the viaduct on Easter Saturday, 25th March, 1967. The Mallow - Waterford line was Ireland’s last non-radial railway served by express trains.
