Dunhill Castle

A view of the ruined Dunhill Castle situated on a rock outcrop near Annestown Stream. Dunhill Castle is situated off the R675 on the coast road to Annestown. The castle's name is derived from the Irish translation of 'the fort of the rock'. Dunhill Castle was destroyed by Cromwell in 1649.
