Glebe House, Clashmore

Number : UK3158
Title : Glebe House, Clashmore
Description : Glebe House, Clashmore taken c.1900, a Georgian structure dating from c.1820, which served as the Parish Vicarage until 1902, when the last Rector, of 34 years, Reverend Charles Carroll retired due to ill health. After this time Parishioner numbers dwindled in the Clashmore and Piltown areas, resulting in the Protestant faithful dying out completely by the early 1920’s, hence the house became a private residence.
