Large crowd, some on horse-back, attending a political meeting, organised by the ’Blue Shirt’ movement, in Carrick On Suir. The Army Comrades Association (ACA), later named the National Guard and better known by the nickname The Blueshirts, was a right-wing, quasi-fascist, Irish political organisation active in the 1930s.
