Right: Private Paddy Flynn, son of Alice Flynn, Glendalligan, 2nd Otago Regiment, N.Z.E.F. who emigrated to New Zealand from Co. Waterford and was conscripted into the New Zealand Expeditionary Force which fought in WWI. He died near Tyne Cot, Belgium on the 23 December 1917, aged 35. The two soldiers to his left are unidentified but are probably from the Kilmacthomas area.
